Winter is nearly over, the ground is beginning to thaw and the flowers will start to take root within a few short weeks. With the changing season comes some of our favorite activities to get back into the swing of spring. While skiers and snowboarders are packing up their gear, golfers have begun to dust off their clubs. Grape harvesters get their oil changed, and trail groomers go back into storage. The best part? All of these activities are less than 15 minutes away from Fairway Suites at the Peak. Following are just a few of our favorite spring activities at this time of year!

The anticipation of truly breaking in your new set of clubs from Christmas finally comes to fruition. Then the time comes to hit the greens and it’s right back into golf season. Being privately owned and operated gives us the opportunity to set and follow our own guidelines, which is a rarity in this age of chain hotels and resorts. One of the first things you will notice when arriving at Fairway Suites in the Spring, is our heated Salt Water Infinity Pool opens in May as soon as the weather allows, (usually by the second week of May). This allows travelers to take advantage of all of the "summer amenities" in what is typically the off season, with off season rates. From the full service, state of the art Aspire Fitness Center on site, and the small plates menu offered by our Clubhouse Cafe and Wine Bar, to bicycle rentals (at nominal fees) and the Salt Water Pool and over-sized outdoor spa, there is always something to do during your stay without ever having to leave the property. Plus... if your travel tastes call for a little more "Excitement," in the day, the zip line course and Outdoor Adventure Course at The Peak are a mere few hundred yards away, making Fairway Suites at Peek' n Peak a true destination in and of itself. In fact, we can't think of a better destination spot to lick the wounds of winter while preparing for the excitement of summer in Chautauqua!
